CPCS A20 Hoist Training
Hoist Training: CPCS Course aims
Hoists are frequently used on a wide variety of construction sites to transport passengers and materials. Usually, they are powered by diesel engines or electric motors that rotate a drum which a wire rope is wound around. Alternatively, they may be hydraulically powered, utilising chains as the lifting mechanism rather than the wire rope.
CITP offer hoist training for the novice or semi experienced operator who are looking to develop and expand their opportunities in the construction industry. Our extremely friendly, qualified and professional team will give you all the information required to successfully complete our construction training course and operate a hoist on any site.
The aim of this CPCS training course is to provide candidates with both practical and theoretical construction plant training to help them better understand the way in which to operate a mechanical hoist. Through the use of these theory and practical training methods and after the completion of the tests, the candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are fully capable and competent enough to carry out the role, following the highest safety measures.
