Abrasive Wheels training incorporates different training methods that suit all different ways of learning, as well as being a comprehensive course that prepares candidates the best way. 

The course is highly interactive using practical, classroom and theory based learning methods which gives attendees the ability to demonstrate their full understanding of the training. 

Training Course Duration 

The Abrasive Wheels training course lasts 1 day. All elements of training will be covered in this time, it is essential when on the course that our instructors know you are understanding the training, and will be on hand to take you through all procedures, which will ultimately help you successfully complete the course.

  • Types and functions of abrasive wheel equipment and cutting discs
  • The selection, testing, mounting and storage of abrasive wheels and cutting off discs
  • The care, maintenance, transport and handling of abrasive wheels and cutting off discs

Certification 

The certification awarded on this course is the NPORS Operator card or In-House Certification. 

Please be aware that the maximum number of candidates per Abrasive Wheels training is 6-10  (Dependent on Accreditation)
