How do I get a CSCS Green Card?

Do I qualify?

To qualify for the CSCS Green Card, you must have completed one of the following courses:

  • CITB Site Safety Plus: Health & Safety Awareness Course (1 day)
  • QCF Level 1/SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (1-5 days)
  • IOSH Working Safely Course (1 day)

Also, you should have taken and passed the Health & Safety Test to ensure complete safety in a construction space. If you are missing any of these construction training courses; we are able to arrange for a course to ensure you get the right training you need for this card.

How long is it valid for?

Our CSCS Green Cards are valid for five years and can be renewed once it comes to an end. If you have a CSCS labourer card that is coming to an end, speak with our experts to arrange for renewal.

What is the next step?

Depending on your area of interest, there are several options available to you. You may wish to follow a specific trade such as bricklaying or carpentry, for which you can take a relevant NVQ.

Assessment

Course assessment will consist of a multiple choice test of 25 questions, of which 3 are safety critical. Delegates are required to achieve the pass rate of 80% (20 out of 25) and MUST get all 3 safety critical questions correct.
