Training Course Aims

On completion of the confined space training course, delegates will be competent in;

  • Demonstrating an understanding of the legal requirements surrounding confined space operations. 
  • Implementing control measures to either eliminate or reduce potential safety risks. 
  • Organising and implementing appropriate accident and emergency procedures. 
  • Identifying the wide range of confined space safety equipment and its uses. 

Please note that this course does not guarantee the successful candidate is allowed to enter a confined space! 

 

Training Method 

Our structured and informative confined space training courses are highly interactive, with the course delivered through PowerPoint and concluding with a multiple choice test. CITP has been awarded full accreditation by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), guaranteeing you and/or your operatives receive the highest quality training available in construction.

 

Safety Equipment 

All delegates should have available & bring with them the following safety equipment. 

  • Safety shoes / boots 
  • Overalls 
  • Gloves 
  • Hard hat
