  • The fundamental concepts for locating and avoiding underground services, along with methods for identifying potential hazards and the corresponding risks.
  • Mastering the art of reading and interpreting construction site plans with precision.
  • Applying equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Successful completion of the CAT & Genny training course will allow candidates to:

  • Recognise any possible hazards to themselves and those around them.
  • Familiarise yourself with the details of the site plan in order to gain a complete understanding.
  • Ensure the secure and proficient use of cable avoidance tools to accurately identify and prevent potential interference with underground equipment.
