What is involved in the test?
The goal of the CSCS test is to examine a candidate's knowledge of a comprehensive range of health and safety aspects, which will, in turn, improve general productivity and safety on construction sites across Wokingham, Berkshire and the rest of the UK. To obtain a trade-specific card, be it a Black Manager, Gold Supervisor, Blue Skilled Worker or Green Labourer card, candidates must also demonstrate their occupational competence by completing the relevant CSCS NVQs.
This trusted and official certification scheme applies to all managers, supervisors and site operatives, as well as plant operatives. So whatever professional position you or your employees are in, the CSCS card is absolutely imperative.
With health and safety being absolutely key to any organisation, it is essential that everyone understands the health and safety procedures during specific events. Our role is to provide exactly that. We ensure that all participants in our construction training courses get the necessary information so they are safe at the workplace. This isn't only to keep the participants safe; they are also able to ensure that the workplace is safe for others too.

The HS&E test should be used as a stepping stone for employers and their workforce to develop their knowledge even further, while earning their CSCS card.
