Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) - 2 days
This training course has been created to tackle the demands that site supervisors face in the construction sector. Mainly created for department managers requiring supervisory skills, this course outlines the various pressing needs for thorough risk assessment practices at work, as well as the implementation of necessary quality control measures. This includes adequate monitoring and communication to create and sustain high standards of health and safety and general welfare on any building site.

This management course provides the perfect first step for candidates who intend to progress to the full five-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) in their later career.

Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS) - 2 Day 

This course is for any person within the building, construction and civil engineering industries, who has responsibility for any part of site management for example contract, project and site managers, foremen or engineers, quantity surveyors, planners and those training to hold such positions.

The two-day refresher course aims to:

  • Improve awareness of recent developments in construction, legislation and health safety, welfare and environmental issues
  • Identify measures that will assist the practical implementation of responsibilities established by new construction industry legislation, and new working practices.

Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) - 5 Day
The SMSTS course helps site managers (and anyone wanting to become a site manager) to develop a better understanding of the legal, moral and social responsibilities of their role, and to manage health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions.

           

IOSH Managing Safety for Construction Managers - 4 Days
Managing Safety trains operatives who are responsible for managing effectively and of safely in accordance with their organisation's policy and those relating to nationally accepted 'best practices' in general Health and Safety. The course runs for 4 days, incorporating various aspects of health and safety. This includes mechanical and manual handling, working at height, and operating competently in confined spaces.

IOSH Managing Safety for Construction Managers Refresher - 1 Day
This refresher training course takes just 1 day and allows delegates to fully renew their national IOSH Managing Safely for Construction Managers certification.

IOSH Safety for Senior Executives - 1 Day
This training course will enable company executives to review their policies and strategy making, and implement changes which improve the safety culture across their particular organisation. This training initiative is designed for those with strategic responsibilities that relate to monitoring, implementing and/or maintaining their organisation's effective standards of health and safety management.

 IOSH Managing Safety - 4 Days
This training course is versatile and has been designed to enhance the competencies of supervisors and managers within any organisation or market sector. It gives managers all the necessary know-how to better handle health and safety practice within their team.

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety- 12 Days  
The NEBOSH General Certificate is a vocational qualification tailor made to assist health and safety operatives (such as Supervisors, Managers and Representatives of Employees) in carrying out their organisational roles and responsibilities more effectively. In doing this they will be able to better protect any current or future organisation they may work for.
