EUSR Training

EUSR is an independent skills platform which provides recognised standards for the utility sector. It is operated by Energy & Utility Skills, the sector skills body for the gas, power, waste management and water industries. EUSR training is designed to support industry employers and add value to the sector.

Individuals who qualify for registration with EUSR are issued with a card and appear on the EUSR website. EUSR is beneficial to both employers and individuals as they move between companies or between industries. Employers have a robust way of verifying the abilities of their workers while individuals have a recognised method of demonstrating their abilities to employers.

The National Skills Academy for Power works in association with Energy & Utility Skills and has a critical role in delivering the training and development needs of the power sector. Through collaboration with leading employers, the National Skills Academy for Power aims to develop the quality and consistency of training and deliver a sustainable and flexible talent pool. Members include Balfour Beatty, E.ON (UK), National Grid and Scottish Power.

Why EUSR Training?

EUSR hosts and stores training records which can be analysed and accessed by employers and employees alike via www.eusr.co.uk or using the EUSR smartphone register search facility.

By benchmarking skills, utilising the latest technology and gaining CSCS affiliation for a number of our schemes, we provide a solution which meets industry skills requirements, allows transferability of skills across the UK and is recognised as best practice by employers and governing bodies.

Our processes and quality standards have been recognised by the Lloyds Register and a report for the HSE has recently identified EUSR as exemplary.
