Manual Handling Training

manual handling training

Manual Handling is a task every one of us faces every day. Whether you work in an office, factory, industrial warehouse or retail environment, correct lifting is something you need to take seriously. If you don't, you could cause yourself health problems in the future.

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended in 2002) apply to a wide range of manual handling activities, including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling or carrying. The load may be a box or trolley, or a person or an animal. Manual handling training is extremely important and ensures you know how to handle yourself at work. When it comes to heavy boxes or large items, manual handling training will give you the skills to move them around without injury.

By the end of our comprehensive training course, delegates will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the risks and practical issues involved with manual handling and correctly use these skills in the office, commercial or industrial environment.
