Manual Handling Training
The aim of our Manual Handling course
Manual handling can be challenging, whether that be in an office, factory, industrial warehouse or retail environment; especially when correct lifting is not undertaken. Not lifting or carrying items in the correct manner could cause you great implications for your health, with our detailed manual handling course; you will be able to transport items securely and safely.
The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended in 2002) apply to a wide range of manual handling activities, including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling or carrying. The load may be a box or trolley, or a person or an animal. Manual handling training is extremely important and ensures you know how to handle yourself at work. When it comes to heavy boxes or large items, manual handling training will give you the skills to move them around without injury.
By the end of our comprehensive training course, delegates will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the risks and practical issues involved with manual handling and correctly use these skills in the office, commercial or industrial environment.
