Scaffold Awareness Training

Aims

Candidates will gather a basic foundation of knowledge in scaffold terminology, components and safety requirements. This course does not equip or qualify them to construct scaffolds, but is suitable, and recommended,  for those requiring a basic understanding of scaffolding safety requirements and practices, such as Electrical contractors or heating and plumbing engineers who need to access roofs safely to install renewable energy technologies, such as solar thermal or solar PV. 

Successful candidates will be fully competent in carrying out inspections and creating safe systems for scaffolding work. They will also gain a good understanding of their responsibilities when using Mobile Access Towers.
